Terms of Sale
A 20% deposit ($250.00 minimum) is required to hold a horse / pony and they will not be considered sold until the deposit has been received. Deposits are nonrefundable but may be used towards the purchase of another horse / pony.
Payment must be made in full within 30 days of receipt of deposit. We accept USPS Money Orders, cash, or personal checks; however all funds must be cleared before horses / ponies leave Lucky Star Ranch.
Horses / ponies will be boarded free for up to 30 days after receipt of deposit to give the buyer time to arrange for transportation. After 30 days, our boarding rates are $5.00 per day (per horse).
Buyer is responsible for all veterinary costs and farrier costs while horse / pony is boarded at Lucky Star Ranch.
Lucky Star Ranch recommends the purchase of insurance for your horse / pony while boarded here. You will find it is quite reasonable.
All transportation costs are the buyer’s responsibility. Negative Coggins / health certificates are provided at the seller’s expense on all horses / ponies priced $1000.00 and above.
The seller makes no other warranties whether expressed or implied, including the warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, and the buyer purchases the horse / pony "as is".
Pre-purchase health exams (at the buyer’s expense) are welcomed and encouraged!
Buyers are invited to come to our ranch and inspect any of our horses / ponies before purchasing them! Please call us for an appointment.
Lucky Star Ranch reserves the right to refuse any sale. Prices are subject to change without notice.
